Enjuris “Future Lawyer” Scholarship Video Contest (2024)

Contest is closed.
Please check back for future opportunities.

Enter to win $1,000 toward your law school expenses.
Apply for the scholarship by September 15, 2024.

At Enjuris, our team of attorney editors and writers understands that law school costs are extraordinarily high, with some of us still struggling to repay our student loans.

To help make the lives of hard-working law students a little easier, we’re awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a current law student.

In previous years, we’ve awarded scholarships based on written responses to essay questions. But we know law students are experiencing high stress levels, so we decided to make this year’s contest a little more fun.

If having fun and adding more cash to your pocket sounds worthwhile, read on to find out how to apply to the 2024 Enjuris “Future Lawyer” Scholarship.

Check out last year’s winner!

Before you dive into the details of this year’s contest, take a moment to watch the winning submission from last year. It’s a fantastic example of the creativity and humor we love to see.

Eligibility requirements

  • You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent citizen.
  • You must be enrolled in an ABA-approved law school and have a valid student ID or be able to provide some other proof of enrollment.
  • All entries must be submitted in English or Spanish.
  • Only one submission per student will be considered.

How to enter

We would love to see you put your creativity to the test by making a short video using the following prompt:

The 30-second law school survival guide

Share your best tip for navigating the highs and lows of law school life, but let’s keep it light-hearted and fun. Whether it’s embarking on a quest for the ultimate oversized coffee or crafting a comic ritual for luck before exams, we’re looking for submissions that bring a smile and nod of recognition.

Don’t hold back on using props, animation, quirky filing locations, or anything else that will make the judges laugh and think, “Why didn’t I think of that?” This is your chance to show off how humor and creativity can be the best companions through the law school journey.

You can upload your video submission to any of the following social media platforms:

  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • YouTube
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn

To ensure we see your submission (this is very important), please:

  1. Follow Enjuris on the social media platform where you upload your video.
  2. Upload your video to one of the social media platforms listed above.
  3. Make your post public.
  4. Tag a law school friend (if the platform allows).
  5. Email us a link to your video at social @ enjuris.com.

The deadline to submit your video is September 15, 2024.

Scholarship selection process

Our attorney editors (the empathetic folks drowning in student loan debt) will review all of the video submissions. A winner will be selected and announced on the Enjuris social media platforms on September 15, 2024. Be sure to follow us on:

  • Instagram (@enjurisofficial)
  • TikTok (@enjuris)
  • YouTube (@Enjuris)
  • Facebook (@Enjuris)
  • X (@Enjuris)
  • LinkedIn (@Enjuris)

We will send a check directly to the winner’s law school. The winning video will be posted on the Enjuris website and our social media platforms.

Tips from the judges

  1. If you choose to use a script, memorize the script, so you’re not relying too heavily on reading when you shoot your video.
  2. Make sure you have good lighting when shooting your video.
  3. Keep your video at about 30 seconds.
  4. Be creative! This is an opportunity to channel your inner Wes Anderson, Jordan Peele, or Sofia Coppola.
