The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers has announced the induction of Bernard Nomberg as a Fellow.
“The election as a Fellow is the highest recognition by one's colleagues of sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence,” the organization said in a news release.
Established in 2007, the College was founded to elevate the workers’ compensation field and recognize attorneys who have made lasting contributions to the profession. It operates as an independent organization honoring those who, through long and distinguished service, have demonstrated leadership in workers’ compensation law.
“It’s an honor to be chosen as a Fellow by the College,” said attorney Bernard Nomberg. “The attorneys at the Nomberg Law Firm will continue to strive for excellence in all of our workers’ comp endeavors.”
A ceremony known as the “installation of Fellows” was held on April 18, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona, during the College’s annual banquet. The organization currently includes nearly 600 members across 48 states, the District of Columbia, and Canadian provinces.
According to the College, Fellows are selected based on their demonstrated excellence over at least 20 years of practice, including work representing plaintiffs or defendants, serving as judges, contributing to legal education, or shaping legislation. Candidates must exemplify the highest levels of:
- Professional qualifications
- Ethical standards
- Character and integrity
- Professional expertise
- Leadership
Fellows also commit to advancing the College’s mission and often contribute through scholarship, teaching, lecturing, or published work in workers’ compensation law.
