Omar Ochoa is the founding attorney of Ochoa Law Firm and a nationally recognized trial lawyer with experience handling complex litigation in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and international matters. His practice spans antitrust, class actions, insurance disputes, securities, oil and gas, trade secrets, employment law, environmental claims, and contract disputes. A native of Edinburg, Texas, Ochoa earned degrees in business administration, accounting, and economics from the University of Texas at Austin, where he became the university’s first Latino student body president. He later served as the first Latino editor in chief of the Texas Law Review, graduated from law school with high honors, and completed federal clerkships with Judges Amul Thapar and Raymond Kethledge. Before founding his firm, he worked as a CPA, a senior financial analyst at General Motors, and a trial lawyer at Susman Godfrey.
