Biography

Lex Lorenzo is a committed attorney with a focus on Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, and Immigration Law. A proud native of Tampa, Lex launched her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s 13th Judicial Circuit, where she managed a wide variety of cases and gained valuable experience in trial advocacy, criminal procedure, and evidentiary matters.

While earning her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, Lex served as President of the Association for Criminal Justice and received the Book Award in Criminal Procedure – Police. She was also an engaged member of both the Student Bar Association and the Cuban American Bar Association.

Before attending law school, Lex earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies from the University of Notre Dame. During her time there, she served as Vice President of the Latino Honor Society, Ambassador for Latino students on the Diversity Council of Notre Dame, and Lead Football Ambassador. Lex was also a member of the Pre-Law Society and Gender Studies Honor Society (Triota).

Lex is admitted to practice law in Florida and remains actively involved in the legal community through her participation in local organizations. In 2024, she served on the Board of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, where she supported the organization’s mission to advance excellence in trial advocacy and legal education.
