Biography

SohYoon Atac is a co-founding partner of SimVisa with more than 19 years of experience in U.S. immigration law. She assists individuals, families, and businesses with family-based immigration, business immigration, and citizenship matters.

SohYoon earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Outside of her legal practice, SohYoon is active in the Chicago community and is passionate about music education. She serves as a trustee of VanderCook College of Music and helped found One City, a music education program for Chicago Public School students.
