Biography
Marcus J. Michles II earned his undergraduate degree from Furman University and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where he served as chairman of the Moot Court Board. He also studied at Oxford University and the London School of Economics.
Marcus served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, including assignments with the 82nd Airborne Division, Third Special Forces Group, and First Special Operations Command, where he acted as lead trial counsel in highly sensitive and classified cases. After leaving active duty, he became Managing Partner of a Pensacola office for a statewide medical malpractice defense firm before transitioning to plaintiff work in 1993, focusing on personal injury and medical malpractice.
Board-certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Practice, Marcus has secured some of Northwest Florida’s largest personal injury verdicts. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and owner and managing partner of Michles & Booth since 2001.
