About Peter Leventis
There's a reason attorneys have historically been called "counselors." Peter Leventis has represented clients in hundreds of workers' compensation trials, but he's never lost sight of the fact that his role as an attorney includes listening to, understanding, reassuring, and guiding clients through what may be the most challenging time of their life.

Peter Leventis has been representing injured workers for more than a decade.
After obtaining his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, Peter was commissioned as a special agent for the United States Secret Service, where he served in both special protective and investigative missions for the United States Department of Treasury and the United States Department of Homeland Security.
Fortunately for injured workers (but sadly for the United States government), Peter decided to return to South Carolina to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Since graduating from law school in 2007, Peter has focused his practice on workers’ compensation. He’s represented clients in hundreds of workers’ compensation trials, including appeals before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court. Peter has litigated all types of workers’ compensation matters, including occupational exposure, repetitive trauma, brain injuries, and workers’ compensation claims involving third-party liens and subrogation claims. Peter is also a certified Circuit Court Mediator in South Carolina.
In 2023, Peter co-founded Smith, Born, Leventis, Taylor & Vega, LLC (SBLTV).
