Biography

Lawton Harper worked as a social studies teacher and basketball coach at Summerville High School in Summerville, South Carolina, before enrolling in the University of South Carolina School of Law.

In 2022, Lawton graduated from law school with honors and joined Chappell, Smith & Arden. His practice focuses exclusively on helping injured workers receive the compensation they deserve.

Although all of his clients are important to him, he was particularly moved when he was able to help a disabled veteran with PTSD receive the compensation he deserved following a work injury.

In his rare free time, Lawton can be found hanging out with his wife, playing guitar, and training his dogs, Drake and Dixie.
